Coverage & Billing
Accepted Insurance Plans
Pacific Coast Neurosurgery participates with most major insurance carriers. Below is a list of plans we currently accept. If you do not see your plan listed, please contact our office. We regularly update our participation and may still be able to work with your provider.

Check Your Plan Details
Confirm whether Pacific Coast Neurosurgery is listed as an in network provider under your specific plan. Network participation can vary between plan tiers, so have your member ID card handy when you call.
Obtain a Referral if Required
Some insurance plans, particularly HMO plans, require a referral from your primary care physician before you can see a specialist. If your plan requires a referral, please have this in place before your visit.
Understand Your Benefits
Contact your insurance company to ask about your neurosurgery benefits, including your copay, coinsurance, deductible status, and any prior authorization requirements for imaging or procedures.
Billing & Payment Information
Pacific Coast Neurosurgery uses Advanced MD for billing and claims processing. For billing questions, including questions about statements, claim status, or payment plans, please contact our billing department directly by calling (949) 328 9240.
Payment is expected at the time of service for copays, coinsurance, and any applicable deductible amounts. We accept cash, personal check, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.
Payment plans may be available for patients undergoing surgical procedures. Please speak with our office manager to discuss your options.
Patients Without Insurance
If you do not have insurance, Pacific Coast Neurosurgery offers self pay rates for consultations and procedures. Please contact our office before your visit so we can provide you with an estimate and discuss available options. We believe that financial barriers should not prevent you from receiving expert neurosurgical care.
Workers Compensation & Personal Injury
Pacific Coast Neurosurgery accepts workers compensation cases and provides evaluations for patients involved in personal injury claims. If your visit is related to a workplace injury or legal case, please let our office know when scheduling so we can ensure the appropriate documentation and authorization are in place. Attorneys and adjusters seeking to schedule an independent medical evaluation can contact our office directly.
